I was planning on scanning and posting a bunch of really cool index card sketches i had been doing over the past few days but, i forgot them at work. So, instead, here's a page from my sketchbook from today.

I was gonna go about inking and coloring this drawing, but i like the fluidity of the original very much. The poor line quality is due to the drawing being only about a 1/2" big.

I realized the major influence of drawings like these are grafitti drawing on desks at my old school and on subway cars and those underground sticker artists who draw on postage stickers.

this is usually how my notes end up looking at work.
On another note, check out Comedy Central's Motherload and look up "Golden Age."
Not only is it hilarious, but yours truly worked on it.

I'm really happy with these sketches.
I recently bought Tarzan for cheap and wanted to watch it today.
I also remebered something John K. posted in his blog about drawing poses from animation in order to better understand it. Thats what was attempted with this page. The more finished ones are held for longer in the film.
Also, it's a larger file than my normal stuff, so click the picture to check it out.
